Precision Truck Design
Part Design
I have dreamed of making longboard trucks since I was in the 10th grade. Over years and years of iterations and skating different trucks with a keen observation of their features and how they ride I came up with an aesthetic and geometry I wanted. Then, with a couple quick iterations using CAD, FEA, and rapid prototyping using my 3d printer I was able to design a truck that met all of my desired specifications. Through FEA static load analysis I was able to ensure that my design was lightweight, while also being strong enough to endure the rigorous skating they would see in the streets. Below are specifications, videos of the g-code, along with a video my friend made of me riding them!
